Just when you think the world is devoid of the brand of sonic chaos and insanity - the kind that makes you ask what the f**k and maybe even smile a bit - Alien Sex Fiend release a new album. "Information Overload" is offered with no pretense, no excuses and needs no explanation to drive itself into your head. If the title doesn't say it all, imagine ASF taking all of their previous experience, whether you call it post-punk, shock-rock, goth-rock, or all of the above, and mix it with choppy guitars, experimentalism, modern electronic intensity and a fried-up regurgitated view of modern communication and culture. "Information Overload" is possibly the most exotic and attention grabbing Alien Sex Fiend album to date, and deserves a serious (or at least open-minded) listen.
